Development of Gross and Fine Motor Skills

Occupational therapy services are provided by the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust. Chilren requiring occupational therapy are offered weekly sessions at the Unit, supplemented by home programs where appropriate.

In addition, independence and motor skills are targeted within the school day for all children. Specialist equipment (e.g. seating, wedges, writing slopes) is used where necessary.

The chldren have the use of a large, safe garden area, with climbing equipment and bikes.
