Training And Research

The Unit provides clinical placements for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in speech and language pathology and therapy, as well as receiving visiting professionals from health and education authorities across the country and abroad.

As part of the Nuffield Hearing and Speech Centre, the Unit has been closely involved in developing and extending the Nuffield Centre Dyspraxia Programme, which is widely used by speech and language therapist. The Unit has also participated in many research projects.
